Microsoft Haiku

The Web site you seek
Cannot be located, but
Countless more exist.

Windows NT crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
No one hears your screams.

Your file was so big.
It might have been useful.
But now it is gone.

Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it is not working.
Windows is like that.

Stay the patient course.
Of little worth is your ire.
The network is down

Hell Chris, don't know about you but I have really been struggling this week. Much of my computer crashed yesterday, as well.

Feel like I am carrying two sand bags around on my shoulders, while treading water.

Anyway, come in here often, though I don't always comment. Have you seen the neuro doc yet ?

From the Bay north of you.

  2. Love your haiku. My insanity du jour centers around an archive issue I can't resolve. It's a true test of my serenity.

  3. You might have seen the following limerick pair on my blog before. I wrote it back in '95.

    I've never owned a computer
I store all my thoughts in my head
    and if I'm desirous
    to hack out a virus
I sneeze in my hanky instead

    I've never owned a computer
I can't stand the tapping of keys
    I'd rather drop acid
    than feed microflaccid
no thanks to your techno disease

By the way, my father's day came four days late this year.
