Things as they should be

Took this pic about 30 minutes ago. Miss L on the dunes in front of our house. Safe in our custody. Things as they should be.

  1. Congratulations from another bi-polar dad. I've been sole-support parenting my daughter since divorcing her mother four years ago. We were married (barely) when she was born so I got custody by agreement during the divorce. Why are there no fairy tales about evil stepdads? Because they would be far too scary. Best wishes to you and your family.

  2. Welcome home Miss L, you are back where you belong. Well done Chris, suddenly you seem more complete.

Cheers to the three of you, V

  3. Glad to see your back. I can't imagine what hell you must have gone through getting your daughter back.
Took courage, conviction and anger to not let the justice system win on what you knew was the best for your girl.

Keep an eye on the self-mutilation, as it's difficult to break once one starts. Speaking from experience. I'm not as open as you have been with dealing a mental condition. For that just alone I admire you.

Hope you hit some reds, even if it's for just a short moment.

    Cheers to you all.
