Comment Moderation

No, I don't believe in comment moderation and am an ardent freedom-of-speech supporter.

Long time readers of this blog will know that even when confronted with severely obnoxious individuals, I left the comments open, and for all to see.

What I am against is SPAM!! It is the fckn scourge of the Neb.

And some prick keeps posting links in my comments to sites selling discount BiPolar meds. First I switched my Captcha's on. That usually gets rid of the bots. But it didn't stop this particular FCKhead, so I've spent a lot of time watching for his comments and deleting them as soon as they popped up. But quite honestly I've got better things to do.

So unfortunately here goes... Comment moderation now on.

PS: those who bought my book "BiPolar Blogged" - thanks. Hope you found some value in it.

  1. I just finished reading your book and really enjoyed it. I am a boring old unipolar and my boyfriend is an undiagnosed bipolar in a manic phase right now. This is the second one I've seen him in, and he gets really annoying and sometimes scary to be around. He is in some pretty heavy denial that things are awry, though he did finally admit that he's "feeling manic" a few days ago. Anyway, I thought he might like to read your book now too, to see if he recognizes himself in your words, but he refuses to open its pages. I loved it though, and am sad to hear you're giving up the blog. But if that's best for you, then so be it and I wish you many more in-the-pink days BPG. Sadly, my relationship looks like it's coming to a rapid close. I've tried everything I can to help him, and he refuses all of it.

  2. I find your honestly refreshing and I do feel for you as I have the same dx. I have formed a community and I am not spamming because I believe in community is unity and it is called www.bipolarsupportforum.com. Your experience would be appreciated and your presence would be welcomed also.
