A Black Tunnel

Took this pic yesterday at Cape Town's Civic Centre whilst waiting for Mrs M.

A long black hallway with some sunlight coming through the far doorway, but not reaching me.

This mental block about work is starting to get serious. Not that it's a new problem - since I sold my investment business 5 years ago I have not had one month where my income has covered my costs. So I've blown all the cash I got from the sale and am presenly approaching the end of my credit lines. I'm gonna have to tackle this fckn mental block soon. It's just that the head-on approach hasn't seemed to work up 'til now. Maybe I need to try get around the sides of the block and somehow outwit it. Outlast, Outwit, Outplay. I wish...

So it's not surprising that I'm having a "Pretty Shity" Day.

Anyhow here's yesterday's piece of productivity (inspired by my detour into gnosticism about 8 months ago, and also in my belief that psychosis is a spiritual event):

The myth

  2. Verry cool! Your a most creative guy with a great sense of whit. By the way, one of the tools I have been using lately is to tell myself that it is just my mind. Often it is so wrong when it comes to my bp stuff

    Hello Bipolar Guy:
Like you, I have a bit of experience with psychosis. My "break" occurred a few years ago. I didn't know that it was considered "psychosis/schizophrenia" so I didn't seek medical care. Instead, I went into the experience and fully engaged the emerging imagery.

That was four years ago. I've been back to work for 2.5 years, and I've done an awful lot of research to understand what it was that had happened to me and why. Given your interests, you may find some articles of worth on my blog.
